How do I report a bug (Issue) in the Cyrus app?

First, let's talk about what a "Bug" is, in relation to a mobile app 🐞 πŸ›. For instance, if you click a button, and nothing happens; or we ask you to enter information into a field, but the app doesn't allow you to type anything, and you can't continue.

If you identify any of these types of issues, there are a number of ways you can bring it to our attention (and we really appreciate it!):

  • EASIEST: Using the Cyrus App, open up a support chat and let us know. Among the first options you can choose is "App Assistance." Then select "Report an Issue" from the next screen. We will ask for some additional context, and follow up if more information is needed. Internally, we'll assign a technical ticket to your chat conversation, and once it's resolved, we'll let you know.

  • YOU MIGHT HAVE TO LIFT A FINGER: Send us an email to [email protected] and tell us what the issue is. Again, feel free to include any error messages, screenshots, or details you feel are necessary, and we'll follow up if needed.

  • FANCY OPTION: While logged into the Cyrus App, simply give your mobile device a firm shake in your hand, and a magical app will appear. Here, you can type in a quick description of the issue you're facing, and this will be delivered directly to our technical team for review and resolution.

In all of the above situations, our goal is to resolve these issues as soon as humanly possible. And whenever possible, we will link the technical issue to your support conversation with us, and save it to be followed up with as soon as it's resolved. Sometimes we check in even when it's not resolved just to see how your weekend was.
