This option is similar to the Video Selfie, but is outside of the app itself. We have seen this method be effective. Click HERE to report someone impersonating you. First you'll click "Someone is impersonating me or my friend." Then click "Yes, I am the person being impersonated."

After that, fill in the remaining fields with impeccable accuracy. **For instance, the first entry for "Your full name" should be a 100% match to the Identification you will attach down below.

The 3rd line for "Full Name listed on the account" should be a 100% exact match for the name currently showing for your hacked account next to the profile photo (ie, the hacker may have changed it slightly)

The "Instagram username of reported account" should be the main username you would use to log in. This could have also been changed by the hacker.

Later, you'll need to Take AND Attach a selfie of your actual face, with your ID in the same photo to verify your identity. Then in the "Additional Info" section at the bottom, explain that "Someone hacked my account and is impersonating me, and changed all of my recovery contact information. I'll do anything to verify my identity!" (It also helps to share with them the original email address and phone number you used to create the account - or most recently used before you were hacked).
